After the Marlin comes back after a brief shipyard stay in Trinidad into the water, it goes for us in the cruise 1 from the southernmost island of the Lesser Antilles to the north. Tour 2 takes place in the same area between Martinique and Grenada, only from north to south. The trips are designed so that all stages can be reached within one day. In addition to sailing, there is enough time to explore the beaches and islands or to watch the underwater world in the crystal clear waters.

After we have procured in Tobago and everyone has gotten used to the Caribbean sun, the wind carries us about 80 miles to the spice island Grenada. Time enough to get to know the sailing 60-foot Marlin and admire the bright blue of the Atlantic. Arrived in Grenada, worth a trip to the fish market in the capital St. George, if the ice compartment of the Marlin is not already filled with self-caught fish.

Continue to the Grenadines, an island chain between Grenada and St. Vincent which are among the most interesting places in the Caribbean. Thanks to a big dinghy and watermaker, we can move independently between the islands and free ourselves from the salt water at the anchorage after swimming. Equipped with the Marlin equipment such as snorkeling equipment and stand-up paddling board, we are perfectly equipped for the uninhabited Tobago Cays, with turtles, coral reefs, beaches and palm trees waiting for us.

After the Grenadines we continue via St. Vicente and St. Lucia to Martinique. Each of these islands has its own charm and invites to street parties with steel bands and typical Caribbean rum punch. If you feel like it, you can refresh yourself under the waterfall or take a bath in a hot spring.
